Ansible is an open source tool that enables IT tasks such as configuration management, application installation and general task automation to be implemented efficiently and repeatably. With its easy-to-understand, YAML-based syntax, even complex processes can be automated without in-depth programming knowledge. Ansible is particularly suitable for managing servers, networks and applications and is used via agentless connections such as SSH, which greatly simplifies implementation and maintenance.
Terraform, on the other hand, is a powerful tool for deploying and managing infrastructure as code. Using the HashiCorp Configuration Language (HCL), Terraform declaratively describes infrastructure components such as virtual machines, networks and databases, ensuring consistent and reproducible provisioning - regardless of whether they are local data centers or different cloud providers. Terraform facilitates the implementation of multi-cloud strategies and minimizes human error through automation.
In our training courses, you will learn how to efficiently automate, standardize and scale your IT infrastructure with Ansible and Terraform - from the basics to advanced use cases.
