Microsoft certifications can help you build the technical skills you need to succeed in today's fast-paced, digital world. They cover different technologies and levels for different job roles each.
Microsoft Certifications – Technologies
Role-based certifications from Microsoft are currently available in Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, and Security, Compliance and Identity.
With the advent of cloud solutions, Azure-certified professionals are in high demand. Azure certifications such as Azure Fundamentals with the course AZ-900 and Azure Administrator Associate with the training AZ-104 are among the most popular Microsoft certifications.
Microsoft Certified Levels
Fundamentals certification allows you to demonstrate a basic knowledge of the technologies required for a specific job role. These are entry-level certifications for people just starting out in the IT industry or looking to change careers.
Acquired knowledge associate certifications are already more complex and in some cases include up to two exams. Basic certifications from the Fundamental series are often helpful, but not required to pass.
Solution-oriented Expert certifications for IT professionals and developers then build on a platform-based Associate certification. At least two exams are required for these certifications.
Specialty Certifications expand your technical skills and manage industry solutions.
Microsoft Role-based Certification
The possibilities of online and cloud-based services, mobile technology and much more have changed the IT industry. Training for different platforms, such as the former MCSA or MCSE certifications, is no longer enough. Microsoft offers new role-based certifications that tailor IT training to specific roles within IT departments. Thus, training now focuses on the specific role required within those platforms. In some cases, these roles function across a variety of platforms, but the tasks are clear. Each of these roles needs to know the platform well, but they use the platforms in their own way.

As an official Pearson VUE Authorized Center, we also conduct all Pearson VUE vendor-certified training exams on-site in Frankfurt/Dietzenbach, Düsseldorf, Hamburg and Munich.
