Data Engineering Workshop

For over 10 years, companies have been focusing intensively on deriving business benefits from their data. This activity gave rise to the role of the data scientist. However, it quickly became clear that much of a data scientist's time was spent preparing data or transferring analytical models into production environments. Thus, the data engineer has emerged as a highly desirable and indispensable member of an analytics project team.

In order to successfully complete this course and gain the maximum benefit from it, a participant should have the following knowledge and skills:

• Experience with a programming language such as Java, R or Python
• Familiarity with the non-statistical aspects of data science and content of Big Data Analytics v2
• Understanding of the role of the data engineer in the introduction to data engineering
