This course is intended for individuals who perform SAN management activities using vendor-specific tools in a Dell Technologies environment.
Connectrix SAN switches are managed using CLI and UI management tools for configuration in a multi-switch fabric to enable communication between hosts and storage. The concepts of SAN design, configuration and management for Broadcom B-Series switches and Cisco MDS-Series switches are taught.

After successfully completing this course, participants should be able to:
- Describe the components of a Fibre Channel fabric
- Perform configuration and management tasks on Dell Connectrix BSeries and MDS-Series switches.
- Manage zoning on B-Series and MDS-Series switches.
- Configure virtualization features, including VSANs, Virtual Fabrics, NPIV, NPV and Access Gateway.
- Extend fabrics by merging switches.
- Perform basic troubleshooting with SAN management tools.
