A Professional Cloud Developer is responsible for creating and deploying scalable, secure, and highly available applications. They use Google-recommended tools and best practices. This person has practical experience with cloud-native applications, container applications, APIs, developer tools, orchestration tools, managed services, testing strategies, serverless platforms, and next-generation databases. They are also familiar with at least one general-purpose programming language and use code to generate metrics, logs, and traces.

The Professional Cloud Developer exam covers the following topics:

Building and testing applications
Deploying applications
Integrating applications with Google Cloud services
