The CCNP Data Center prepares you for today's professional tasks in data center technologies. The CCNP Data Center certification has been expanded to include automation and programmability to help you scale your data center infrastructure. The CCNP is one of the most recognized certifications in the industry and validates the expertise you need while maintaining flexibility in core competencies.
Each exam in the CCNP Data Center program earns an individual specialty certification, so you'll be recognized for your achievements along the way.
There are no formal prerequisites for the CCNP Data Center, but you should have a good understanding of the exam topics before taking the exams, and the relevant coursework will help you with this. CCNP candidates also often have three to five years of experience implementing data center solutions.
To earn the certification, you will pass two exams: A core exam and another specialized exam of your choice.
To acquire the basic knowledge and skills you need to configure Cisco® Data Center technologies, we also recommend that newcomers to the subject take the DCFNDU - Understanding Cisco Data Center Foundations course in advance.
