Knowledge Prerequisites

The participants should have the knowledge from the Check Point Certified Security Expert R81.20 - CCSE course. Since April 2023, an existing or expired CCSE certification (R80 or higher) is required to take the CCTE certification.

Furthermore, knowledge of UNIX and/or Windows operating systems, TCP/IP network technology and Check Point security products is helpful to successfully complete this course.
