This course prepares you to manage end-user virtual private network (VPN) environments created over a shared service provider multiprotocol label switching (MPLS) backbone. You will complete hands-on labs to reinforce the basic concepts, benefits and classifications of MPLS VPN, MPLS components, MPLS control and data plane operations, MPLS VPN routing with VRF (Virtual Routing and Forwarding), Level 2 and Level 3 MPLS VPNs. Furthermore, IPv6 MPLS VPN implementations, IP multicast VPNs and shared services VPNs. The course also covers solutions for deploying MPLS VPN across multiple service provider domains that improve network bandwidth utilization.
