Hans-on Data Analysis With Python

Data science and machine learning are no exception: gray theory is no substitute for practical experience. Data handling and analysis are best learned in their application. By making mistakes and retrospectively deriving insights from them, you consolidate your wealth of experience and knowledge. In this course, participants will use a case study to cover all aspects of data analysis and the development of machine learning models. Starting with data collection, processing and cleansing the data, through to simple statistical models, hypotheses and finally the training and validation of machine learning algorithms, the course covers all aspects of the work of a data scientist.

Target Group

The course is aimed at users who want to practise working with real data and implementing machine learning solutions using a case study.

Knowledge Prerequisites

Fundamental knowledge of the Python programming language is required. This can be acquired in the courses Python for beginners - introduction to programming or Python for programmers - basics for a quick transition, for example.

Participants should also have gained initial experience with both data analysis and machine learning. This can be acquired, for example, by attending the training courses Python for Data Science - Data Analysis and Insight Machine Learning and Machine Learning - Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.

Classroom training

Do you prefer the classic training method? A course in one of our Training Centers, with a competent trainer and the direct exchange between all course participants? Then you should book one of our classroom training dates!

Hybrid training

Hybrid training means that online participants can additionally attend a classroom course. The dynamics of a real seminar are maintained, and the online participants are able to benefit from that. Online participants of a hybrid course use a collaboration platform, such as WebEx Training Center or Saba Meeting. To do this, a PC with browser and Internet access is required, as well as a headset and ideally a Web cam. In the seminar room, we use specially developed and customized audio- and video-technologies. This makes sure that the communication between all persons involved works in a convenient and fault-free way.

Online training

You wish to attend a course in online mode? We offer you online course dates for this course topic. To attend these seminars, you need to have a PC with Internet access (minimum data rate 1Mbps), a headset when working via VoIP and optionally a camera.
