Students will be introduced to Extreme Network’s network access control solution, ExtremeControl. Students will learn methods to properly install and configure their ExtremeControl engines. Use cases and deployments for ExtremeControl within different network models is also discussed. The primary ExtremeControl use case covered in this course is visibility of end-systems with Passive and Pass-Through Modes. Components of authentication to include proxying RADIUS are discussed. Students will have these concepts reinforced with a hands-on lab experience installing ExtremeControl into a preconfigured network.
