Rapid error detection and localization - preferably before the end users - are the most important goals of software and infrastructure monitoring. Logging is one of many tools that can be used to detect and analyze errors.
In the environment of microservices and distributed systems, tools such as Elastic Stack are becoming increasingly important. In this course, you will get to know the products of the Elastic Stack (Beats, Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana) both individually and in their interaction. In the course of this training, you will build a complete Elastic Stack solution, accompanied by a discussion of the technical possibilities and system limits.
This will give you a deep insight into the installation, configuration and basic operation of Elastic Stack. In addition, many tips and tricks on troubleshooting and high availability are provided. Many topics are worked through together and then put into practice.

Basic know-how in the areas of monitoring concepts, Linux and multi-tier architectures is helpful, but not a prerequisite.

Hybrid training
- Hybrid training means that online participants can additionally attend a classroom course. The dynamics of a real seminar are maintained, and the online participants are able to benefit from that. Online participants of a hybrid course use a collaboration platform, such as WebEx Training Center or Saba Meeting. To do this, a PC with browser and Internet access is required, as well as a headset and ideally a Web cam. In the seminar room, we use specially developed and customized audio- and video-technologies. This makes sure that the communication between all persons involved works in a convenient and fault-free way.
