Module 2: Why move to AWS

•    Why businesses are moving from VMware to AWS
•    Business drivers: Cost optimization, scalability, and agility
•    Challenges with on-prem environments: Hardware refresh cycles, and maintenance costs
•    Common challenges in migration
•    AWS advantages for migration: elasticity, pay-as-you-go (PAYG), and integrated services

Module 3: Migrating VMware workloads on AWS compute

•    Migration strategies: The Rs of migration (Rehost, Replatform, and Refactor)
•    Rehost or expand your VMware SDDC: Amazon Elastic VMware Service (EVS) (vmotion/HCX)3
•    Rehost your virtual machines on Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) VMs.
