Palo Alto Online Courses

Technical Recommendations

To participate in Palo Alto online courses, you only need a PC with an internet connection and ideally a headset.

Lab Access

During the training, we will use Zoom as the training platform to deliver the theoretical part and you will also have access to your own virtual lab consisting of a Client, FireWall and DMZ Server for practical exercises as described in the lab guide. You will be able to access your lab via the URL below using any HTML5 capable browser. Please test the access before the start of course!

Training Platform

Please joint the training 10 minutes before the start of the course via the link that you received in advance. We will use Zoom for this online course which is very similar to other WebMeeting or Webinar platforms and let us share the trainers’ screen as well as provide audio. You will need a PC with a stable internet connection and a USB headset. Build-in laptop microphones will work as well but usually have bad quality. Alternatively you can also dial into a conference bridge (International dial-in numbers are available here.) Please check the system requirements and test the compatibility of your PC by joining this test meeting https://zoom.us/test.

Recommendation: two monitors
If possible, we recommend using two monitors. An external monitor on the laptop or a separate tablet are very useful to keep a better overview of the trainer presentation, the course materials and the Lab environment.
