AWS E-Books

The course materials for all Amazon Web Services (AWS) courses are available exclusively as e-books.

AWS e-books are made available via the VitalSource Bookshelf platform. They can be used online via a browser or offline with a suitable reader. These are available for PC, Mac, iOS, Android and Kindle Fire. Comments and highlights you add are automatically synchronized between all devices.

Please bring your notebook or tablet with you to access the e-book. This way you will have the course materials conveniently available during and after the course.

In courses that include practical laboratory exercises with the AWS environment, it is essential that you have your own internet-enabled notebook (Windows, Linux, MacOS). If you are unable to bring your own device, please contact us.

Please follow the steps below to access the documents.

1. Account and online access
You will need an account with VitalSource Bookshelf. You should create this before you attend the course. You can then use your e-book online. The account is also required for the offline versions of the e-books.

Create a Vital Source account.

2. Install the program or app
You should install the appropriate VitalSource Reader as a program or app on your end device before the course if you want to use the course content independently of a network connection.

The corresponding apps for iOS, Android or Kindle Fire can be found in the respective App Store.

You can find the reader programs for Mac and PC on the VitalSource support page. Please note that you need administrator rights on your computer to install these programs.
