During the rush hour, the suburban train comes every 15 minutes, at other times every 30 minutes. On Mondays, you can use a taxi shuttle service free of charge from station Dietzenbach Mitte, which is available to you at 09:45 a.m. The taxi can has a badge on the windscreen stating the name ExperTeach as an identifier. Alternatively, you can take a standard taxi cab (the MyCab taxi service offers favorable rates, call 06074 9141 360, www.mycab-limousine.com. The driving time is approximately 5 minutes.
Alternatively, we can recommend to use the MyCab taxi service right from the central station Frankfurt am Main at a flat rate of € 35. Departure: From the main entrance in the parking lot in the street "Am Hauptbahnhof" behind the taxi stand turn left diagonally. One evening a week we offer a free shuttle to Dietzenbach or in weekly rotation to Heusenstamm.

In Dietzenbach you will be driven directly to the old town and have as a starting point the restaurant Stadtliebe. Here you will be offered modern Hessian cuisine mixed with international urban food.
In Heusenstamm, you will be taken to the Alter Bahnhof restaurant. This offers a rustic coziness and also the possibility of a walk to the nearby Schönborn Castle.

On one evening our shuttle goes to Sachsenhausen
Sachsenhausen is the district of fountains, "Stöffche" and towers. The only true apple wine pubs were and are located here. In the summer months, a walk to the Gerbermühle or a trip to the boathouse at the Eiserner Steg is worthwhile. There you can also rent pedal boats or rowing boats.
On another evening our shuttle will take you to the Eschenheimer Turm.
Whether a dignified dinner with dishes from the lava stone grill directly in the restaurant Eschenheimer Turm, a cocktail at happy hour in Café Extrablatt, burgers and falafel in the cult snack Hamburger am Turm or film events in the CineStar Metropolis - around the tower there is something for every taste. A documentary by Hessischer Rundfunk (in German) shows you what awaits you there!

Secret tip for skaters
Start & Finish: Training Center Frankfurt/Dietzenbach
Bring your inline skates to the course! Directly at the Training Center begins a paradise for skaters, including a route to Seligenstadt (one-way approx. 15 km). From March to October you can also take part in Tuesday Night Skating in Frankfurt with many other lovers of this sport every Tuesday.
Dietzenbach Forest Swimming Pool
Refreshment in summer is offered by the outdoor swimming pool in Offenthaler Straße.
Opening hours: Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. The ticket office closes at 6 p.m.; the evening swimming rate is valid from 5 p.m. Adults pay between EUR 2.50 and EUR 4.50 depending on the length of stay. Getting there: With the flat-rate cab fare, which can be booked through ExperTeach reception, a one-way trip costs €7.
Discover Frankfurt on foot
How to get there: Take the S-Bahn to Hauptwache, then one stop on the U-6/7 to Alte Oper. Start: Alte Oper / Finish: Alt-Sachsenhausen / Distance: approx. 4 km
The beautifully restored facade of the Alte Oper (Old Opera House), a pretty forecourt with fountain and the skyscrapers of the Westend in the field of view offer a nice contrast. From here, walk along Fressgass (Große Bockenheimer Straße) with its numerous ice cream stores, bistros and delicatessens to fortify yourself for the rest of the march. A few meters past the Fressgass, you can admire the predators of the stock exchange before arriving at the Alte Hauptwache, which has been converted into a café. At the square is also the Katharinenkirche (St Catharine's Church).
Now walk a few meters along the Zeil, then turn right to the historically significant Paulskirche. A short time later you will reach the historic town hall „Römer“, which stands on a pretty forecourt with its angular gables. From here, walk through Frankfurt's new old town to the cathedral. You will get one of the most beautiful views of the skyline if you then turn right down to the riverbank and walk along the promenade to the left, then cross the Main over the Alte Brücke (Old Bridge).
Continue along this street for 200 meters and then turn left into Elisabethenstraße to reach Alt-Sachsenhausen. This pedestrian zone provides a cheerful end to the walk with traditional apple wine bars and many other restaurants. Giddy people can alternatively enjoy a fantastic view on the 53rd floor of the Hessische Landesbank (Maintower) as a crowning finale under the influence of delicious cocktails.
