CCDE Theory

The CCDE® certification was introduced by Cisco in 2008 and quickly developed into a recognized and prestigious certification in the network environment. Compared to other CCIE certifications, the CCDE® certification presents candidates with comparable and in some cases higher requirements, thus attesting to a high level of expert knowledge and skills in the field of network infrastructure design. It shows that a CCDE is equipped for the highest demands in network design.

The test questions are continuously revised and updated. Passing the demanding written exam is a prerequisite for admission to the practical exam.

Course Contents

The course prepares for the CCDE® certification. The exact content of the course is adapted to the requirements of the theoretical examination and covers the following aspects:

• IP Routing
• Tunneling
• QoS
• Management
• Security

In contrast to conventional seminars, the focus is not on a general, broad transfer of knowledge. Instead, participants can work closely with the trainer to close any gaps in their knowledge.

Target Group

This CCDE® seminar has been specially developed to prepare for Design Exam 352-001 and is therefore aimed at participants who are aiming for CCDE® certification or would like to recertify their professional status.

Knowledge Prerequisites

The CCDE® certification requires a broad and in-depth knowledge of network technologies and their design. This can be proven, for example, by a CCDP® certification and corresponding practical experience. Participants in this seminar must have extensive prior knowledge of IP routing, security, classic network technologies and network management.
