With the help of the Software Blade Architecture of Check Point, customized security solutions can easily be implemented at network gateways. The course at hand introduces the various software elements and explains the steps required to set up an Internet firewall. For this purpose, Release R76 and the GAiA operating system are used. At the same time, the course prepares the student for the 156-215.13 exam, which has to be passed for the certification as Check Point Security Administrator (CCSA R76). In the test network environment, the participants will have the opportunity to translate theoretically acquired knowledge into practical application and to deepen this know-how. After the seminar, the students will be able to set up, configure, and maintain an Internet firewall with the help of the GAiA R76 software.
