This course provides the learner with an in-depth understanding of the administration, monitoring and maintenance of a functional VPLEX system. Operational aspects of VPLEX (Local and Metro) using Unisphere for VPLEX and the VPLEX CLI are covered. Lab exercises provide hands-on experience. Provisioning virtualized storage from VPLEX to hosts and performing mobility and mirroring operations on live virtual volumes will be emphasized. Integrating VPLEX into existing data centers with live production data and interoperability considerations will also be covered.
