Please note: On January 21, 2025, the CyberOps certifications were converted to Cisco Cybersecurity certifications by name and include new AI-related exam topics. The "Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate" certification has been known as the "Cisco Certified Cybersecurity Associate" since this date.
Starting in February 2026, Cisco's CyberOps/Cybersecurity certifications will be renamed CCNA and CCNP. If you have a valid CyberOps or Cybersecurity certification at the time of the name change, you will automatically be recognized as a CCNA or CCNP Cybersecurity certification holder based on your current certification level.
Today's organizations are challenged with rapidly detecting cybersecurity breaches and effectively responding to security incidents. Teams of people in Security Operations Centers (SOC's) keep a vigilant eye on security systems, protecting their organizations by detecting and responding to cybersecurity threats.
The Cisco Certified Cybersecurity Associate certification demonstrates your expertise in fundamental cybersecurity skills, concepts and technologies, including an understanding of IT infrastructure, operations and vulnerabilities. It is suitable for new or aspiring IT professionals who want to specialize in cybersecurity, but also for experienced IT professionals who want to demonstrate their skills with Cisco and Cisco-related cybersecurity technologies.
